Excellent work.
Good to see you are still working on this!
Guys do you know any community or discord server about Severance?
I want to play multiplayer matches :)
One of my favorite games!
From a time period when big developers actually made great games.
You should do it. That's one of the things that gives Dwarf Fortress its charm. Getting stuck between the the perils of the surface and the deep.
Yeah, I know what you mean man. I also have a few hobby game projects myself and I never seem to be able finish any of them. They just go out of hand. It is the bane of indie game devs. Best of luck with this simplified project but I feel like you will keep adding :)
So this is a renamed version of "session" right?
New name is better and the game looks really nice.
Looks great. The "super saiyan" voices are funny as hell though. I think they make the game sound very goofy and breaks the immersion. I would advise disabling them or at least an option to disable them. Otherwise the game looks really fun and cool, best of luck with your project.
Looks good. I am a fan of directional blocking/attacking sword fighting games and hope to see more, best of luck.
Checked it out. Looks very promising, good job.
Looks great!
I see that you are using XNA, it's my favorite framework.
Are you going to use the original XNA output or compile the game as MonoGame for the final product?
What do you think about the usability of XNA in the long run?
I love the emphasis on the physics aspect. There are not many good mountain biking games out there and this looks quite nice, tracking!
May the Yods be silent.
Looks good!
Good stuff. Best of luck with the development!
Tried the demo and I really liked it.
I agree with Ryuu about this being a dream game.
I have been always interested in making an adventure RPG with a realistic world setting and survival.
Devs always seem to make either an adventure or a survival game. I love seeing projects that combine both.
The adventure and the journey of survival combined promises to be a very interesting experience. I am aware of some pitfalls and hassels it can bring to gameplay flow like you stated: dying of thirst or hunger in the middle of a very hard earned progress. But I am sure it can be done nicely!
Looks nice. Reminds me Stronghold on some occasions.
A true classic from the golden age of gaming.
How I miss those days.
Awesome collection man!
I played almost every game in your collection except for the Sega Satrun games.
I saw Settlers, Age Of Empires 2, Red Alert 2 and Supreme Commander there. Those are some of my favorite strategy games.
And you have Wild Metal Country!! Wow, most people don't even know that game exists :) Great game.
I would recommend you the Ultima series for DOS. I am not sure if you have them but you should definitely check out Ultima Underworld 2, Ultima 7 and Ultima 8. Ultima 8 is one of my all time favorite classic game. And did you play the original Postal? You might find its shooting mechanics fun and similar to your game. Be sure to check them out man.
By the way I am also making a game and hope to upload some screenshoots soon.
Cheers!
I liked it. It should be a good addition to the game.
Hey man, the game is coming along nicely.
This heavly reminds me of an old school DOS classic I played when I was a kid called "Alien Breed".
Was that game an inspiration for you?
Looks really nice. Best luck with your project!
Looks nice, reminds me of Crimsonland a lot.
Looks promising.
Are you guys using XNA Framework or MonoGame?
