Its a top down shooter with a few Rpg elements in the style of old school games. You play a Marine Sent to remote planets on his own (Most the time) Tasked with Constructing and terraforming the planet for later habitation.
Watch out for Wild life forms Marine!

Hey man, the game is coming along nicely.
This heavly reminds me of an old school DOS classic I played when I was a kid called "Alien Breed".
Was that game an inspiration for you?
Yes very much i still play it to this day on DOXbox with shaders enabled. Other games that i play for idears are Tapan Kaikki. Subterrain. Teleglitch. Darkwood. GTA2. Alien Breed Tower assault my FAV!. And sega genisis topdown games' all so DOSbox! and other arcade emulators. And topdown gamse on sites like newgrounds and indieDB to LOLZ!

I played almost every game in your collection except for the Sega Satrun games.
I saw Settlers, Age Of Empires 2, Red Alert 2 and Supreme Commander there. Those are some of my favorite strategy games.
And you have Wild Metal Country!! Wow, most people don't even know that game exists :) Great game.
I would recommend you the Ultima series for DOS. I am not sure if you have them but you should definitely check out Ultima Underworld 2, Ultima 7 and Ultima 8. Ultima 8 is one of my all time favorite classic game. And did you play the original Postal? You might find its shooting mechanics fun and similar to your game. Be sure to check them out man.

Multimedia Fusion 2 made bye clickteam. I made a basic engine then started learning more so keep redoing stuff over and over till its just right lol
