At most I just want to get a handful of people to fill a lobby at night. If this is something you're interested in, I'd love to hear your ideas. It's just me making this game and I can't steal ideas published in public places such as twitter or I mean wait what


Multiplayer


    Facet is a "Create a class" based multiplayer game where players add their own game mechanics to an arena style shooter. The option to play in third person is available for players who might choose a movement based melee class.
    Players have a limited amount points they can spend on choosing which game mechanics and perks their character will have. The more OP, the more it costs.

      Some implemented SKILLS a player can choose includes:
  • Diving
  • Sliding
  • Wall running
  • Wall jumping
  • Scrambling
  • Tackling
  • Grappling Hook
  • Teleport

    Some implemented perks a player can choose includes:
  • Armor/Body Health increase
  • Speed/Jump increase
  • Sticky wheels
  • Damage increase
  • Drive & Shoot

    Some Implemented Ultimates a player can choose include:
  • Wrist rocket barrage
  • Railgun strike
  • Head tracing bullet
  • Laser kit

Single player


    It's been years since the last evacuation ship left Earth. It's not over yet for us.
    He stayed behind for us. He cared for us. He is us.

    The Facet story will take place over three episodes released over time.

Frankly I had to put everything on the back-burner for awhile. That includes the team I attempted to put together. It's very clear that a team is not an option because I simply cannot afford the time for one.

Due to this, I've shifted direction entirely. I'm afraid it is much too ambitious for one man to make a fully functioning open world RPG with the detail that I intended. So single-player will be In an episodic format. I had been solely working on the single player story, but I'm afraid it's become quite exhausting. Especially because it's impossible to show off without spoiling what I want to be.. you know.. not spoiled.

Due to this fatigue of animations, dialogue, and level creation, I switched focus on the player combat and multiplayer aspect.

I'm feeling a lot better about it.

Expect a more expansive update about weapons and information about the first playable build and how you can be a part of it in the next week.

Also sorry about the nightmare fuel eyes there, didn't notice until just a minute ago.
