Death Legacy is a roguelike, dungeon crawler, turn-based combat, roleplaying game, which try to approach to old-school dungeon crawlers, but offering a 3D graphic esthetics. One of its main features is the procedurally generated content (the entire dungeon, the items stats, the loot,...). The use of the senses will be decisive as you can find hidden secrets and your enemies using sight, and hearing. However, enemies will also use their senses to find you. Survival is another game mechanic. The player will suffer from hunger, thirst and tiredness, which will affect the players stats... or kill him.

We have been reported some issues regarding the installation and configuration of the game. We'll try to make a post explaining it step by step, but untill that moment, you can check the guide explained in the manual as well as the quick guide we added in the description section of the "[OLD] Death Legacy 0.6" piece of news. Remember NOT to download that version, it is quite outdated and has less content than the current one (version 0.7)
We had to reupload the Death Legacy 0.7 release due to a last time crash fix. It will be available as soon as indiedb authorizes it. Sorry for the inconveniences.

Hi
I just tryed the demo and i really like it. Some suggestions. Sleeping heals only a bit of fatique (if its full, then it heals only about 1/4), thats strange, it should heal most of it (at least 3/4). The other thing is sleep should heal your HP at least a bit. No food and no chance of healing is probably just still not in the game i suppose (same as range weapons not working, or do they need arrows/bolts and if yes, they are not in the game i suppose). You should put a slider inside the weapons window, as if i take all of the weapons i found (and i am sure many other do it too), there is so much stuff, that i cant equip the ones i got last, as they are outside the window box. Ability to ditch weapons, and other items outside the inventory, so there is not that much of a mess.
Something like a map, or just a mini map, would help a lot, because everything looks the same and its very easy to get lost (or ability to mark places, so i know i was already there before).
And the last one, just reduce the shine from the walls in the cave. It looks like its made from glass and if the walls don't reflect the torch light (the light crystals are ok thou), it would look more creepier.
Thank you, Tsusaku!
I really appreciate you take time to try the game and write your feedback! It's just what we need right now :).
Kbza answered some of the issues, but I want to add some notes:
1. I assume you are attacking using 'F' key. This attack is a "special" attack, using all your equipped weapons (and also adding their delays for your next turn). This attack doesn't work with ranged weapons (we will fix it, don't worry). However, you can use them if you attack as Kbza told you, clicking on the weapon icon at the bottom of the screen.
2. Yeah, fatigue is a "mix" of thirst, sleepiness and hunger, but hunger is the most critical (it adds more than 50% of the fatigue).
3. Notice that the chests dropped by enemies (open them from an adyacent tile using "Space") have an interface based on 3 tabs (weapons, armors, consumibles). You may have items in other tabs you are not seeing. TIP: The dropped chest disappears when it's empty. Enemies drop potions (any kind), and items for thirst, sleep and hunger.
4. There will be a map, don't worry ^^.
Hi!
First of all thank you for trying the game! I now try to answer the issues you found.
1st fatige is not just the "unsrested" state, its a mix of hunger, thirst and sleepiness... so it only recovers the part added by that tiredness.
2nd we know that sleeping doesn't heal at all, is something we made that way. We will take into consideration to add some HP healing to the sleeping part.
3rd there is just a way to recover hunger and is looting corpses (well, not corpses, the mini-chest they left behind) and finding pieces of meat. Also, by looting this mini-chests you can find HP potions to recover HP points.
4th about range weapons... dont know... they should be working... they only work in a straight line, and you can see if the enemy is in range of attack by hovering the mouse over the weapon icon (once equipped), it will show a blue border around the enemy if that is the case.
5th about slider and items in the inventory, we're working on it. We will add a system to trash garbage and we will take the slider suggestion into account.
6th about the map... we rejected the idea of a map at the beginning beacause it made the game really easy, but in later development we realized our maps were becoming larger and was pretty easy to get lost. So, we will add a map or some way to mark the places you've been to (this is something many people asked for)
7th about the shininess of the icy cave... well it was some artist decision and we thought it looked cool :P. Maybe someday we implement the sneaking mechanics and will make it darker to make it creepier as you said.
Thank you very much! suggestions like those will make this game improve a lot and if something I said wasn't clear enough don't hesitate to ask again (we know we need a proper tutorial :S)
