Description

19th September 1950 - Korean War, Inchon a small port near the South Korean capital of Seoul, Catching the flank of the North Koreans, the landing was successful with mediocre casualties, moving inland by the end of the day to the Capital, the battle was so successful Allied forces captured Seoul by the 19th September and forced the North Koreans to retreat.

In this picture M26 Pershings and US infantry clear a compound held by North Korean forces, after destroying a T-34/85 the Pershings move in to provide close fire support while the infantry clear the building
