Awesome, thanks epic40k! :) Can't wait to get it in the hands of the players.

Hey GhostTaker! Sorry for the incredibly slow reply, I keep forgetting I don't get notifications for posts on this section (for some reason...).
I think it will run, I can't guarantee it though. I've run it on a couple of laptops with Intel cards and have had some success. Between EA and full release I'm hoping to re-write a part of the renderer which should allow the game to run at a decent speed even on lower end hardware.
Cheers.
Sorry, yes, British Pound. Looking at Google for conversion.. about 7 to 9 euros or 7.80 to 10.30 dollars :)
Hey GhostTaker! I haven't decided on the exact price point yet, but I'm looking at the £6-8 range :)
Hey! Space Run was a big influence. Earlier on, each "ship" had its own model (looking more like traditional space games), but being a single developer this quickly became too time consuming. Eventually I stumbled on an early screenshot of Space Run in an old gamedev site... and that's pretty much what saved this game and allowed me to carry on! :)
Thanks GhostTaker! :) Can't wait to release it!
Hey Jorge. Great to see you starting a new game! Good luck and I'll definitely keep an eye on it.
Thanks! Now to get the muzzleflashes in...
Hi cof3ina! Apologies for not replying earlier, didn't get a notification. I'm aiming at March / April next year through a Steam release :)
Thank you! I'm quite happy with the shield effects, really makes the big fights impressive. As for the hexagonal shapes, it was probably the best decision I've ever made in this game, it makes it so much easier to customise ships and create new content :)
Thanks! Can't wait to have the game out there :)
There will be an in-game guide, with more information about the various factions, all the weapons and modules, etc :)
Hey there! I don't have a date yet, still very much in development. I've currently got a good Alpha and am working on making the game more dynamic so that the player has a fair amount to do and shoot at :) I'll try to keep these updates on IndieDB regular so you can see what I'm up to!
Hey hey.
I just tried out the game, it is looking promising. Very Homeworld but that's not a negative in my books - I've been craving some Homeworldness.
I've really liked the idea of having these sectors you visit, with factions you can interact with. In my first mission I didn't actually attack the scavengers and it was a breath of fresh air -not- to be attacked in return. Wasn't expecting that.
Regarding the combat, I've found that the interceptors needed more oomph. It was difficult to figure out if I had the upper hand or not.
Overall, a very promising start. I look forward to playing new versions and seeing the game progress.
They really do :) I've spent a while working on the graphics for the beams, check out the new screenshots...!
OOMPH :) Sorry for the lack of reply, I didn't get a notification. I think I've got a sound for it lined up...
I'm quite curious to explore how they'll look like - playing with shaders is always entertaining.
Thanks for following Tannhauser, Daniel!
Thanks! After Pre-Alpha 1 I'll be looking into improving the look of the ships, should increase the variety quite a bit :)
Thanks a lot! Making good progress at the moment, everything is coming together really well.
Thanks for following Tannhauser, QPsychosis! It is always good to know people are interested.
Thanks for following Tannhauser! Much appreciated.
Thanks for watching Tannhauser, TheSauro! :)
Glittering in the dark, certainly. Most likely in the shape of ion cannons - definitely in my to-do list for Pre-Alpha 2.

I'm a software programmer with a deep passion for blowing up spaceships and riding motorbikes (and a preference for not getting the two mixed). On my spare time I'm currently working on HEXTERMINATE, which has been built on top of a custom game engine.
