Haha, this is cool. I am really looking forward to this wonderful little gem of a game you guys have got going here.
I know this is going to be a hit upon release ;)

Time to learn UDK :P
I have wanted to make maps for Chivalry, I didn't realise we could now :O
This is one of the most fun games I have played in a while. Never have I laughed so damn hard that I had to walk away from the computer. 4 of us were playing this in my room and we all ended up in tears of laughter.
I am excited to see this getting greenlit (you know it will happen!), so crossing fingers and toes, and have been getting the word out to friends about it too.
As for level suggestions...there are so many, but if I think of a feasible and sensible idea, I'll be sure to post my thoughts ;)
Keep up the great work guys, the gaming industry needs games like this :D
Yay, more updates :D
I am really looking forward to this, along with everyone else, we need more games like C:MW and now B:LotS.
Keep up the awesome work :D
Nice. I find tilesets to be a real pain in the backside too. I've got one that is about 5% finished with over 50 different pieces :P
I love it :D
Nice work, always great making those little (big) breakthroughs in your code :D
This game is worth the pretty penny, that is for sure. You have my pledge :D
Best of wishes for you and your team, and hopefully your Kickstarter succeeds gloriously, you guys deserve it :)
Maybe i'm just immature but..... Big Ramkok? o_O
Get that bird away from my armies!
It is independent developers like you guys, who will eventually dominate so called 'AAA' developers out there with your unique and innovative creations.
The craziest part about this specific game is you have allowed it to be downloaded freely in it's alpha state (which looks amazing btw!).
Keep up this awesome work, and you guys will be making millions one day and be highly respected amongst the gaming and games development community :)
I think it's a great thing to see indi developers supporting other indi/mod developers.
PZ is already a great game, and while I can understand the impatience of some people, I can also understand the decision made by the developers to support other aspiring developers. It is a rarity these days, and I would love to see more of it.
Obviously there is work behind the scenes that the developers aren't showing to people just yet, so I say remain patient and wait until RC3.
Wow this is looking awesome man, reminds me a bit of cannon fodder, only less cartoony, well done and a thumbs up from a fellow aussie for greenlight :)
Voted for this as soon as I saw this announcement. Unfortunately though, unless people are actually looking for the game, I doubt they will find it. Greenlight is such a cluster**** right now with all the wannabe games on there, or games that aren't really even games.
You'd have better luck on Kickstarter methinks!
I hope that this succeeds as much as Natural Selection 2, Chivalry: Medievil Warfare, and other indie titles are succeeding, it sure as hell deserves success, it is looking amazing! :)
Looking awesome, also loving the simple commentary that doesn't make me want to blow my brains out :P
I'm sure we can all do without the personal insults.
"Former wizards, forecasters, psychics".
Not only that but the character actually looks like some sort of zombified wizard, holding his hands together like they are in prayer or something. I'm surprised he's not holding an artifact between his hands like it's a crystal ball :P (i'll stop ripping on the wizard now)
And yeah, i've played the beta, and I ended up playing the real STALKER instead. Because I was reminded too much of a game called Fallen Earth, only in the STALKER gameworld.
This worm monster thing is yet another good example of bad design. (It's a cool looking monster, but horrible for STALKER, you only need to take a look at the comments to see that).
Indiedb.com
The devs should take a look at what made STALKER great and unique, they should look at what style GSC gameworld went with their monster design, and try to do something that isn't straight out of some fantasy game or the DUNE movie.
Do you even understand what RPG means? Role Playing Game. STALKER is a First Person, Post apocalyptic RPG, but it is not a fantasy RPG. It's not the names that concern me, it is the fact that they really do look like a zombie wizard and a hobgoblin, fresh out of a fantasy game. Don't get me wrong, I love the models, but they don't fit in the STALKER game world.
And hobgoblins? What is this? World of STALKRAFT?
Sorry devs, but you need to stick to mutants of the STALKER gameworld, or at least make some that stick to the trend. Adding Wizards and Hobgoblins is making it sound like a magical fantasy, not a post apocalyptic wasteland...
Looks awesome!
I'm loving the fields and meadow screenshots...actually, no, I love them all :D
Absolutely amazing stuff. I can already see the progress since the last footage, the combat is looking much more fluid, and actually does look cinematic and "flashy", which is very difficult to pull off for a game of this sort.
I would love to see a sort of "helmet cam" type option for server admins, which turns on a helmet view for players, so you would have your view sort of obstructed as if you were looking from within a helmet. But I think that would need to be in some kind of "pro" mode :P
Also cannot wait to get my grubby mits on a pole axe and lop some heads off :D
This looks simple yet really fun. Gotta give this a go :D
I agree with GlassPirate. It is pretty much just like the exoskeleton from STALKER. Just the mask is different. Nothing un-STALKER-ish here ;)
I'd love to see this put into play. I personally started working on an island survival type thing for the Cryengine 2 a while ago, but wasn't really a serious project.
I wish your team the best, the idea is hardly touched upon, even by indi devs, so it would be great to see more games and projects surface with the whole survivalism idea in mind.
This is great, good to show that you are paying attention to the smaller details.
All it needs now to complete it is a toungue hanging out :)
R.I.P. Daisy :(
I hear it's collaborating with My Little Pony online in a game called "Kitty vs Pony Universe", it's apparently R rated :O
Whats with all of the generic above ground shooters coming out and charging premium prices?
The underwater theme is certainly not untouched, but it's definately not at the point where it's overdone. I can recall very few games that involve underwater play. I could talk forever about above ground shooters. Therefore underwater games are very new and unique still.
Haha, that was a fun little update, the side view combat is a great idea that could be expanded upon in a big way, however perhaps make it a little more difficult to die :P
Also, have fun at GDC guys, hopefully your combat demo gains plenty of attention, i'm sure it will :D
Loved the last part too, it reminded me a little of Serious Sam actually :P
This looks super scary and edgy, I think I will be hugging the nearest surface all the time as a diver, hell, I may just curl up and wait until the battle tides over :P
The gameplay is looking more fluid than in the last video which is great.
I'm sure you guys have already picked up on it/know about it, but when the player is grabbed by a shark, things go from fluid to looking a bit jerky and quick. I think to emphasise the deadliness of a sharks bite, it would be really scary if the upper body of the player flops around while the shark is shaking the player, and the shark player would need to jerk his mouse around to "shake" the human to chomp the limbs off.
Also with blood, the trails of blood look great, but to improve on the blood once again, it would be awesome if those trails dissapated and turned into red mists of blood, creating a bloody cloud of death.
Otherwise it looks fantastic and improves with every video, I am super excited to get my shark proof mits on this :D
Awesome stuff! I am loving the scale of detail in this engine, I can't wait to see what is in store for it's future! :)
Awesome, the last game like this was Diver 3D, and while it was good, it was unfinished, so this makes me happy to see this :)
This is awesome, I am loving the combat, it's probably more fun to watch the fights than to play :)
I am not sure If I would like to see any dismemberment, maybe only with major strikes from big weapons.
I think I would prefer to see enemies get broken limbs and body parts, for example, if they get a broken arm, they won't attack as much and will more so just use their legs, or if they get a broken ribcage, they will start backing off and not attack you so much, they will just go on the defensive, and obviously a broken leg would kind of ruin it, but maybe a severely hurt leg, like a fractured leg, they might start limping, and just try to defend one spot with their arms only, rather than try to move or attack.
The alternative is that severely injured enemies try to retreat back to other groups of enemies to warn them and get to safety, so you would have to make sure to stop them.

Hi, I'm Nathan. I am a studying games developer since about December 2005. I have always had a passion for games, I have always played games, and have always dreamt of creating my own games one day and so now I am working towards that dream. Currently I work alone, and am studying just about all aspects of games development. I plan to keep working alone as long as possible until I am financially secure enough that I can start up a large studio and hire other team members to work on higher quality AAA titles. I am currently working towards creating a mod for the Cryengine which I won't disclose any details for just yet(Details to come when the mod is finished or near finished). The images on my profile may hint at what this project may be about however ;) And I really don't know what else to say without rambling.
