I think the patch might have erased your save.txt if you are using Desura client. But you can "cheat" goto about this kind of path C:\Program Files (x86)\Desura\Common\deadbuild\save.txt
and change the level value and save :P

I have heard of MonoGame, but I have not really examined it more closely. Linux & Mac builds are not this moment on my todo list maybe in the future.

When you place a building, the villagers will not go build it until you click them to build it.

You think it would be better if the selected villagers would go to "auto" build it?

Thanks for the bugreport, you can still place the road by pressing R. I'll fix that in the next update :)

What is more real-world time?
And they spawn differently in different levels.. like in level 3 there is no road.

Thanks for the feedback and good ideas! The next patch will definitely include hero respawn and other hero stuff. Can't wait till the holiday ends so I can get my hands on the game :p

Imo the Second is the best, and First is also good.
