Tried downloadable demo v0.10.8.
It wouldn't respond to mouse clicks once in-game (i.e. left-click to use item, right-click for Inventory/Action).
Also ran too hot for my laptop.
Will check back later.

v0.7.1a ran way too hot for my laptop, even when just in the menu or setup screen, and using the lowest resolution.

v0.7.4a runs cool now, even on higher resolutions. Great improvement!
Game does seem to crash fairly often.
Typically the crashes don't display an error message, although one time there was a Torque memory error -- it couldn't allocate memory (perhaps a memory leak?).

Minor bug with the Napalm ability of the Grenadier. It used up the 2 AP correctly, but didn't update the display of his remaining AP (the blue number).

Sometimes the message panel in the lower-left corner seems to be clipped by the bottom border of the window.

All in all, the game holds promise. Will check back later.

I like this mix of elements: Sci-fi, open-world, survival, crafting...

Dev Build 5 feedback:
+ Good settings/options for an early build.
I like that it defaults to non-fullscreen, and that the music can be turned off (I prefer gaming without music).

+ The game runs cool (doesn't overwork the graphics card).

+ Good sound effects, including weather.

+ The tutorial and helpful hints that popup here and there are indeed helpful.

+ The sailing controls work reasonably well and are easy to understand.

+ Even though it is an early build its fun to play.

+ I like how the adventurer's memory of the terrain fades over time, and that there are place-able flags & a cartographer skill to help deal with that challenge. And that each adventurer has a separate memory of the terrain. And the footprints/tracks on the ground is a nice touch.

+ Looking forward to when other features are implemented like Crafting, Cooking, Fishing, and communicating/trading with the tribes.

The "End Turn" mechanics threw me off a bit at first. In the tutorial, my guy was chopping at the trees for a long time and making no progress until I figured that out. ;)

Since the combat is turn-based, I'd like to see each of the adventurers be able to perform an action before the adversary (bear/wolf) takes another turn.

There were a few little bugs/glitches when dealing with items, but nothing major.

Keep at it. It's looking good so far.

Oh, and the three layers (foreground, furniture, background) that all can be interacted with was a nice touch.

Good game so far.
I like that it is sci-fi instead of fantasy.
Randomly generated world to explore, mining/tunneling, crafting, hostile environment (in a future release?), ...etc. - all good.

Also, it runs cool (doesn't needlessly overwork the graphics card), which is important to me since I use a laptop.

The F11 key for switching between full-screen & windowed modes was a great idea and works quite well. I wish more games had this feature.

Took me a while to realize that more crafting options could be seen by hovering the mouse near the crafting icons and using the mouse wheel to scroll down.

Haven't figured out how to attach an axe-head/pick-axe-head/hammer-head to a wooden handle. Not implemented yet?

It seems a bit unusual that one can cut down a tree from way across the screen, or mine minerals without digging a tunnel to them first. Is that just an early implementation of the mechanics?

Any plans to implement craft-able ladders?

Keep at it. This game definitely has potential.

Great concept for a game. Sounds really cool.

Tried the demo, but it runs too hot for my laptop.
Will check back later in hopes of some graphics optimization in a later release.

Cool game. In both senses of the word.
It runs cool. A lot of games drive the GPU heat up way too high on this laptop.

I like how you can walk up to a console and it activates automatically. And then just step away and it deactivates. Very smooth. No getting stuck in "console-viewing-mode" until you remember the special key to get out.

Using R to switch back and forth between mouse-look & cursor modes feels a bit cumbersome. Would it be possible to make Right-Click be the mode switcher?

I'd kind of like to have the consoles auto-switch you to mouse cursor mode, and auto-switch you back when you step away, but then you'd still need to do manual switching if you need to adjust your view direction.

I like the idea of spiders attacking the ship, you donning the space suit and going out there to shoot em off. And being able to walk on the sides and underneath the ship. Awesome.

Its nice that you can start a Repair process and then step away to do other things while it works.

The music is cool too, but personally I prefer having no music in games, so it'd be nice to have an option to turn it off.
Looking forward to having sound effects added.

Keep up the good work!

Hey Vaughn, great improvements in v1.1.1.

Regarding this change, "Hovering over a craft item will now visually show items in your Inventory/Equipment/Quickslots that it uses in the crafting recipe.", it seems to be missing Pole-like, Rope-like, and Needle-like items (and possibly others). For example, for a Poor Arrow it highlights the Feather and Sharp Rock but not the Pole-like and Rope-like items. Otherwise, it's a good feature.

Re-usable torches: Good idea. Can the same be done with campfires? i.e. implement a way to put out a campfire like you can do with a regular file?

The swimming to map-edge change sounds good too. I haven't tried swimming that far yet, but invisible walls are definitely a bad thing.

Status showing when you are bleeding is quite helpful.

Keep up the good work!
