Hey thanks a lot!
I'm getting new updates from my artist right now, and strongly interested in developing PVP & coop options.
Hey thanks a lot!

I don't think it's mentioned anywhere in the docs, but:
Press [A] to select ALL of your warships, and order them easily.
- this is very important to effective management
Also, you can press [F1] for a quick list of commands, but it doesn't list the [A] key :(
Hi, thanks! Multiplayer is something I have been thinking about since the beginning, but the primary release is based on a single-player experience.
And since game-speed is adjustable, I've come up with something called "consensus time": if all players select the same game speed (half, normal, double, etc.), then the game runs at that speed for everyone. Otherwise, it just runs at normal speed.
This is a stand-alone version of Demo 2, which now registers victory and defeat again.
Without this version, you can only play the first tutorial, but there's so much more to see!
...and at the request of a kickstarter backer, I added another option this morning! Selectable distance between star systems.
Hi, I just joined my first group ... this one! I've been on indieDB for years and never figured it out (didn't try very hard...)
Anyway, I've got a game ("Not Your Space") on kickstarter and greenlight right now. Here's the IndieDB page:

this looks really REALLY awesome! Thanks for making me aware of Path to the Sky!
There is a slight bug In this file, where the quest screen can flicker if you hit the [Q] key. It has already been fixed for the next release, but you can currently use the mouse and click the quest icon in the upper right, and that works fine ;)
Windows 8 users might need to run in windows 7 compatibility mode.
If the controls don't work, you may have an unsupported gamepad plugged in. Removing that will make it work.
Yes, it is.
Windows 8 users need to run in windows 7 compatibility more for now. A fix is coming. I've mentioned this previously, but maybe not in that update. sorry ;)
To enjoy it!
As I said in the article, I took out a lot of the autonomy for actual players. The bot is a feature, not the focus. Writing it is something I enjoy as a programmer. The game is very complex and deep, and has lots to offer human players. The bot doesn't *enjoy* the game, where as people do ;)
If you are familiar with the genre, many roguelikes have auto-explores, or full-on bots. People still play them.
There's a free demo, give it a try.
Final 48 Hours. 4 stretch goals met, but the best ones are still ahead!

I love retro strategy games, and have been making them since 2002. I've done 7DRL (seven day rogue like) every year since 2010. Spoke at IRDC USA. I Made "Approaching Infinity", the space adventure roguelike and "XenoBloom", the game of life evolved. "Core Conquest", a fast-paced highly-configurable space RTS, is coming in 2017. Current project is "The Curse Of Yendor" , a tactical rogue-like terrain deformer. Releases on Steam 02/17/17.
