Earth have been destroyed. What's left of humanity starts its long journey through the Galaxy on a giant spaceship built by the Ancients to save us a thousand years ago. The "New-Earth" ship is an artificial earth simulator including biomes and species generator and you will have to lead humanity to it's destiny in this survival sim inspired by Dwarf Fortress and the 3571 The Game.

I think about making a survival sim for a long time now, and I worked on concept art and GUI principles of this futuristic colony management simulation.

I'm starting to work on a 2D voxel procedural world generated inside the ship to simulate earth. I will try to implement it with Z-level from the beginning. I also would like that aliens, animals... to be procedurally generated too, and never meet any enemy twice each time you play.

I also would like to add space merchants, enemy spaceship attacks, random visitors... I will also include a creature generator included in the ship to provide food and company to the inhabitants.Sometime also, pilot will be required for the whole "New-Earth" spaceship to avoid asteroids, or black holes...

Inside the ship, the artificial Earth simulation coud also lead to random event such as dinosaurs emergence, mutant animals starting to build tools... etc

So, before I start implementing basic functionalities, what would you think of this kind of game?
