A rail-shooter about a paranoid person fearing rape or violence while walking home – that is, using a metaphor of violence to not engage in violence. Every level is another night, repeating the paranoid point of the game experience. Don't Get Raped is a game about consensual blindness: blindness manifest in the player-character, the gameplay and perspective provided, and through the ”narrative”. It is about forcing a version of possible perception of the player.

Hello everyone. This is Mikael Vesavuori posting, the person behind the Propaganda Bureau name.
It's been a while and lots of things have happened since this first "draft" version came out in 2010. The biggest thing is probably that I will show games I've made at the Hjärta Spel game-art exhibition in Sweden, starting in late September.
In 2011 I polished Don't Get Raped and 3 other "games" that were also in kind-of "draft mode" - conceptual but not quite as realized as I wanted them to be. So: a newer version is available in the series/kit "It's All Fun and Games Until Someone Blows Their Brains Out" which contains Don't Get Raped together with the 3 other "games". You can get the kit at my site for a cheap price.
I sincerely want to thank everyone for trying this concept, commenting on it or otherwise engaging with it.
