Only in window mode the 1280x800 resolution makes these problems. In fullscreen mode I have no problems with this resolution.

OK I think I figured out what the issue was. It was a resolution issue. When I started the game the first time it was automatically set to a resolution of 1280x800. This doesn't seem to fit to my screen with a native resolution of 2560x1600 so the graphics were shifted upwards and the buttons were not on their right palces. Now that I've changed the resolution to 1152x720 everything fits in window mode. Playing the game in fullscreen also works fine.
It also doesn't work on my MacBook. Maybe there are other key combinations on other systems than Windows. :-\
How can I switch the game to fullscreen mode?
I also found the problem in the Mac version that it doesn't work when I click exactly on the buttons in the game. I have to click a bit below any button that it gets selcted. I'm using a MacBook Pro.
Nontheless it's a nice game.
Is there a chance to see the Win and Mac version here on Desura too?
Preliminary october the 5th. ;-)
They've updated the summary text to october the 5th. Hopefully this will stay the final relase date. I can't wait to get my hands in the finished product.
No idea but if you need a manual to learn how to play the game you can also use the manual from Dominions 3. The gamemechanics are almost the same. You can download the manual for free from the official site.
I got a problem with the standalone version.
I don't know if pledging for their new project is that good when they are always starting new projects and abandon them after a time of development. I first like to see a finished game from the developers.
Somehow I don't have sound in the windows standalone version although everything is turned up.
Yeah. I'm also wondering what will now happen with the two unfinished games. I don't think that they habe time to work on 3 games at the same time.
But I already bought it here with the expectation that there is also a standalone installer availlable here on Desura, like a lot of other games have it on Desura. Is it then possible to get a Humble Store Key if I bought it here?
Where is the standalone installer? Or will threre be such an installer?
Yes you're right. Finding the key is a little mess here in Desura. On the homepage it's very hidden and with the client you first have to go on "install game" before you have the option to see the key.
A "purchased games" list on "my account" with the namens of the games (not only the purchase dates) would be great.
Which version number is the beta now? Here on Desura stands v3.99e and ingame stands v3.99d.
Nice game so far I tested it.
It's a freeware game. On the official site you can download it for free. The paid version contains some extra stuff like an additional character. So you can download it from Postmortemgame.com and play it. If you like it and want to support the developers, you can buy the paid version.
They could get greenlighted on Steam and offer a drm-free version. Now they are bound to Paradoxes Steam only policy. It's a way more audience when you offer two variations instead of one so that everyone can pick what he likes.
To enlighten you: DRM binds you to the platform and it's rules. Without Steam installed you can't install or play a game. They have a remote control of your games and you don't really own a game. They can even lock you out of a game. It's only a service. Some community functions doesn't make it better.
I don't know what the benefits were of getting Paradox involved, that the developers were consent with such DRM only sanctions. :/
As I understood, for people who bought the game DRM free before, will still get the DRM-free version. Only people who buy the game from now on, will only get the Steam version because Paradox is the new Publisher and they betrayed their own DRM-free philosophy and now have the new philosophy Steam only. That's also the reason why I don't buy Paradox games anymore. I think Paradox is also forbidding the developers to keep on selling a DRM- free version of the game.
Making a DRM free game to a DRM only game wasn't really a good move from the creators. I don't know what benefit they got from Paradox but people who are against DRM won't buy it now.
Looks very interesting. Does it have a leveleditor? Bought it anyway.
Where are the standalone installers for windows & linux?
"Invite only release. If you already own this, add a shortcut to your playlist."
What does that mean?
Is this a non steam version and does it has a standalone installer?
It's important to me to gat a DRM-free version (must be up to date).
Is there a plan for a DRM-free version?
I played the new level. It's really nice but now I'm through with the game again.
Thanks for the Fix. Now it works fine on my PC.
One suggestion:
In my opinion it would be good if you add a restart key (for example R) to restart a level, so that you don't have to go to the menue and select restart. This would be more efficient if you messed up in a level and are not being destroyed.
