i think starting over is a fine plan

this looks like my kind of game. i love the base-building and group management combination. i also enjoy setting up defenses and seeing how effective they are but im not too into the strict and limited "tower defense" format.

i just bought the game a couple days ago and i like it a lot. i didnt really know what to do at first but lets play youtube videos were really helpful and now im well on my way. looking forward to updates.

i figured it out
for those stuck on the same part
the trick is to treasure hunt for a "wall socket"
among the scraps/junkpiles spread across the world
put the wall socket on the wall near the combinator
and then put cable from combinator to wall socket
and another from wall socket to workbench

i did not know about the wires
so now i made wires
but now there is another problem
when i drag and drop with the wire selected from the combinator to the workbench the wire does not stick
is there another requirement needed to make the wire stick or am i pressing the wrong keys?

i have the materials for the power generator
i have a workbench
but when i attempt to build the power generator im told the workbench has no power
so how do i power a workbench when i cant build a power generator without a powered workbench?

how do i find new chunks of rubber?
i know how to get tar but not the rubber chunks
is it purely a ship wreckage/treasure chest thing?

issue
in the current build the queued research item icons with the progress bars over them are invisible
this makes it hard to know when to queue up the next research item

the tilted view raises my enthusiasm for the game a lot

this looks like something i can play all day long for days on end

i prefer single player so im glad you will still have a single player or private option

i too hope he becomes famous for making this

i just found out about this game today. you had me at treehouses. will we be able to build other types of homes and fences? tracking btw. keep up the good work. i hope your character can make friends or allies. but if not i think the game will still be good. but allies make the survival aspects more interesting for me.

excellent. i really love this game. acknowledging the widespread prejudices of the time period will, i believe, add depth and help the game stand out more.

i finally paid for it a short bit ago. i made a really cool 4 man squad. i can't wait for the next update. i'm really looking forward to the other weapons being added such as blunt and bow.
