Hey everyone,

all those of you who've been tracking Xarelok so far: Thanks for your trust and your patience with us so far!

I'm back again to keep my promise I'd give you info as soon as we got something new rollin' out - well, the time has come :)

Some of you may have already found it on the ModDB or IndieDB frontpage today: Leviathan Crossfire. We believe that this game in its current, early stage has more than doubled potential compared to Xarelok, in graphics, gameplay and quite different development concept.

So, if you are interested, you are warmly invited to track Leviathan Crossfire right now instead of this baby. Xarelok will be archieved in a few weeks, till then, this news post will be available for all trackers of the game.

You can find the new project here!

Thank you,

Dominik

would it maybe be possible for you to upload a game play movie and or teaser movie, because the screens do show a lot but movies says so much more to us.
i am tracking this game for quit some time now and always hope to find a movie.
i do have to agree with Booman, that the maps do look quit blocky till now what makes it less interesting. there is not much detail in the environment what makes it looks all a bit similar.
don't get me wrong, i don't want to bash this mod because as i said, i do track it so it does appeal to me, but a bit better mapping would really make it look so much better...

We will add more entities here and there, but the overall boxy layout will probably remain for this game. Anyway, we've got a trailer being planned, so have a little more patience with us.

The FPSC Engine is a very good cheap Engine to Build your game ;)

Unity and UDK are better and both free unless your going for a commercial project.

I'm tracking, if you can make an FPS Creator game that doesn't suck terribly, then you deserve the Nobel Prize

I like the textures, bump mapping and lighting.
From the screenshots, the levels are looking pretty square and blocky.
I hope there will be more interesting environments to look at.
