Tank Brawl 2 is currently in development and will be released around late 2018. Tank Brawl 2 is the sequel to our first published game Tank Brawl. In the first game, we wanted to remake something we loved as kids, the Battle City game on the NES, and give it some modern and personal touch that everyone old and new would enjoy playing.

In Tank Brawl 2, we want to step it up. We want to build a game that will wow player every 5 minutes so that by the time you finish the game, your wow counter of epic moments would not be less than 100. This will be the best shoot-up tank game of this generation which would be be remembered 30 years from now as THE ONE with many original mechanics that inspired dozens other games.
Below are the list features that we are PLANNING TO have:
- Most impressive and satisfying tank destruction ever.
- Most impressive and satisfying shooting visual ever.
- And more features yet to be revealed.
First here is the video showing all the destruction variations:
For each tank, we create about 100 different static mesh pieces, that allow us to break the tank up in whatever way we want. And here are the first few animation we had.
Tank spitted in half. The pieces are pushed along the ground, blowing up dirt and soil and leaving big scars trail on the ground.
Tank hit and pushed back then its own ammo compartment explodes. This create a delayed explosion that let player have time to notice it and this amplify the satisfaction when you destroy a tank.
A brutal hard hit make tank explode instantly. Small parts violently flying out fast while big parts goes relatively slow help player recognize the tank shape when it explodes.
And finally when tank hit by machine guns, individual parts fall off and physically simulated. The rest of the tank with missing parts still moving and animated correctly.
