Digimon World: Project Ark is a free, fan-made game based on the PSX title Digimon World. Our goal is essentially to revive and expand on the world of the original. The project is volunteer-based and many of the original founders of project ark are still actively involved in the game today.

The player is given a partner digimon that they are responsible for raising, training and exploring the digital world with. The purpose is to raise your partner through their life cycle, explore the islands, and recruit digimon to your city. We are using the Digimon World 1 mechanics to create a larger game, using NeoAxis 3D for our engine. There will be over 300 digimon in-game, and we will be utilizing a game-specific, independant storyline.

The team is currently working towards a small demo to showcase some of our features, stay tuned for details. You can find us over at our new site dwprojectark.com, where we'll be more consistent with updates.

We do not own any of the characters nor will we profit from this game in any way. Please support official releases. - Project Ark Team

Hey to our readers! How's everyone doing?

You can check out this month's posters over here, and see a few of Digimon World 1's old favourites on the list (along with some new faces). This month we have Matadormon, Vegiemon, MasterTyrannomon, SkullMeramon, Kimeramon, Goburimon, Vilemon, Vademon, and Centarumon. Be sure to leave us requests for who you'd like to see next!

When one of our digimon models have their own poster, that means they’re fully animated – the posters are a good way of keeping track of which digimon are complete!

If we have any readers who'd like to help out and contribute to the project, please don't hesitate to get in touch. Send us an email! Most of our members join up and improve their skills along the way, so it's a good opportunity to learn :)

As always, thank you for reading and showing your support! It keeps us going!

If the demo is released and it is successful, you might want to make it into steam. But that's my opinion. Still looking forward to it.

Copyright will probably be a problem there, but we'll look into it. Thanks for the tip, appreciate it.

Animations for agumon have been completely redone. Also he is playing the walk animation and moving at double speed. It was an error on the coders part but not one too hard to fix. Thanks for your input.

It hasn't been released yet, demo release is still TBD unfortunately.

With ultimate being as hard as it was to obtain in the first Digimon World, we are including Mega digivolution which will be obtainable by experienced players as you progress deep into the game. How Omnimon will be obtained is still being discussed, something along the lines of the "Monzaemon method" could be possible.

We're still some time from release but from now on we're planning on updating weekly and being more in-depth with what's happening in development. Thank you for the support, guys.
