Here is the update the new update for Project Anklebreaker.

What’s good everybody and welcome to the third development. We would first like to apologize for the lack updates recently for the last two builds our team has released. Our team has been hard at work trying to get this project as best as it can be and due to this, we got some cool stuff to talk about. Let’s Get Started.

What’s New

New Team Members

Around January, our team upgraded from 4 people to 7 people. 2 dedicated programmers(Andrew and Mark), an animator(Brian), and a UI designer(Will). Super thankful for them helping out, now that we can finally iterate faster on ideas and implement things that we have previously would not have.

New Movement System

For those who been playing the previous builds, one concern that kept occurring was the lack of free-range movement. As of now, we finally got it. Whether you are using a controller or keyboard, you can move and shoot where you are at.

Adding a Basic Win State

This allows the player to complete the game if they achieve 21 points.

New Audio System

With our current list of audio sounds, we have an Audio Manager system that allows the player to listen the various songs that we have in the game and the environment ambiance as well.

In addition to that, we also have a few bug fixes. Overall, this is what we have been working on this week. Thank you all for the continued support of Project Anklebreaker and we’ll keep you updated.
