This is a great game, even for an Alpha. I really like how challenging combat is and it actually forces me to make smart decisions about whether to use stealth or lure enemies into a trap somehow. The mark of a good role-playing game is one that forces the players to make decisions like these. My only concern is that money in the game seems a little unbalanced against the player. When I pickpocket a merchant, they are never holding any cash and no one keeps money in their locked chests. Even if you steal and pickpocket every character--you wont get much--supplies and gear are still too expensive to buy what you need (even with high trading skills). Apart from the sadistic monetary system, I really like the difficulty. It reminds me of the best parts of Avernum: Escape from the Pit and the original Fallout game, in an original and stylish adventure. Question: Do enemies have vision cones in this game? If not, is this a planed feature?

Having a lot of fun with this game. The DMC is awesome, the changes are great. I really like being able to play good or evil, it might also be cool to aline with good or bad factions in the game.

The Wrench is made at the Machine shop. It's just mislabeled.

For now, to exit without saying just close the game window. You can also backup yoursave files.

I believe the Newb Pack is up-to-date wth 0.34.11, which is the latest.

I would recommend it for anyone starting out. You get all the bells and whistles.

That makes me want to buy this game.

I couldn't wait, so I'm taking part in the Beta (by pre-ordering it). Man, this game is a lot of fun. It's kind of a perfect mixture of strategy, diplomacy and combat. Mangaging everything is simple and intiutive, so you spend most of your time exploring, fighting and negotiating. I would suggest you have a fairly good graphics card to appreciate the beauty of this game.

Takes me back to the original Oregon Trail I played as a kid. What a fun concept and very well done.

An update just came out, but it works runs on my Win 7 64-Bit system. Have you tried all the normal trouble-shooting steps? 1. Uninstall the game, 2. Clean install, 3. Verify the files (right-click the title > verify files). On the Gnomoria forums everyone seems to be able to run the latest version fine.

Update 8.25 just came out on Tuesday, the 15th of this month. The break was due to the holiday.

This game is so much fun! I recently pre-ordered, so I have access to the closed Beta--and BOOM--there is a New Build coming out with several new features. Man, this game has me hooked. Thank you for making this game.

Finally figured it out. After you buy the game you have to register, login to their website > Click Panel > Redeem Premium Code. They could probably make this a bit easier for Desura users with an email with instructions.
