I'm having the same exact problem. I have black bars going horizontally across the screen, flashing. Once it gets to the log-in screen, it crashes on me.

I have to do the same thing too, but it works just like normal in safe mode for me. Which means I get to kill zombies. Which makes me happy! =)

I have the gamewatch account, but how do I show that I have it on my laptop with their game tracker lite app? Otherwise, it won't show me a server to play on.

WHEN people are playing on the servers, this game is awesome. I played for about an hour with about 7 random people. I had a blast. Playing with the bots is fun too, but after a while they get too easy. Although I find running around with the Bowie Knife and just throwing it at them to be quite satisfying.

Do you need a sledgehammer so you can get on the roof? Or do you just build a staircase up and it let's you start building?

Oh I'm sure I would be! My guy was doing GREAT. Then I got tired of scavenging for supplies, as I had amassed a huge amount. So I made my guy drink bleach. Not surprisingly, he died 1 minute later. There simply wasn't enough chips and orange soda to make him well again.

I think it's hilarious how you can drink bleach on this. At a glance, it has no bad effects in the game (although common sense tells you that's a stupid idea). Then you drink it, and then your health takes a humongous turn for the worst.

I'm having a big issue with just getting through main menu. I only have a laptop (2011 ASUS), and it has ran PZ in the past just fine. But with this new update, it runs 1 frame every 3 seconds or so. No joking. What should I do in my settings? After a bit of waiting (and timing) I finally got to the options screen, and everything seemed as normal, even the frame rate was locked at 30FPS, as you gentlemen said to put it at. Also, I don't even have Game Booster, nor did I even know what it was until I googled it 5 minutes ago!

Do you know what I should do? I'll keep tinkering around until I find a solution, but any advice or tips you guys would have would be excellent.

I agree! That'd be pretty nice, because they would be very quiet weapons, and you could retrieve your arrows/bolts, as well as craft new ones. Maybe even make better arrows/bolts with sharpened rocks, or shards of metal as tips, instead of just sharpened wood. Just a thought.

As far as the silencer idea goes though....

There is a mod called "Pillow-Silencer," or something close to that. But what it does is that you equip a pillow and a pistol and the pillow will silence the pistol, for several shots. But each shot tears the pillow, to eventually, it falls to pieces, and you need to find a new one.

I personally haven't tried it out, but I saw it on one of their posts about cool mods for PZ. I hope this helps, bud.

I don't know how long it will take. I've waited two days for them to contact me with it, and I've e-mailed them just to be on the safe side, to let them know that I'm having this issue. I've yet to receive a reply.

So I bought the game yesterday, because I had the demo for about 3 days and absolutely adored it.
Everytime I hit launch, it goes to a screen and it says: "Desura failed to locate the CD Key. Status: All CD Keys are in use, please wait for a Site Administrator to contact you with a key [38.100]."

Is that literally all I need to do? Just wait til' I get an e-mail or a message in my inbox?
