To whoever checks this, I'm waiting patiently for Tennessee, and then I'm buying the entire collection.

I'd also recommend the team check out the matched combat mod that just dropped on Nexus. I think if y'all could reach out to the creator of that and see if you could work together on a Shokuho version, that could really add to the bushido/samurai style of fighting--at least from a cinematic standpoint.
FiveM has fallen
Nut, as the kids say
I literally just commented on the FC page about how sad it was that the mod had died, this is great news
Only game/mod that ever got the lightshow of flak and CIWS fire from the Battlestars looking right. What a shame to hear about it...
Weird that I just saw this pop up with an update. I remember this being the idea that got me into indie gaming and even submitted a short piece of writing for the contest back then. Little did I know I'd end up majoring in writing communications when I was in college. Hell, if this is potentially starting up again, I'd take another stab at it--but with non-middle school grammar this time. Anyway, it's great seeing this blast from the past again--I feel like this could've been another Kenshi-style success story with the right formula, which conceptually it seemed like it had. IDK, maybe I'm just necroing a dead project, but on the off chance I'm not: Awesome.
I believe in you! This game was my childhood! I was a weird kid!
I see y'all over here just quietly making one of the most promising/modular historical shooters' of all time.
I've wanted a video-game treatment of a M*A*S*H* style army hospital for...I think since I first watched M*A*S*H* when I was like 8, so this definitely has my attention.
Yoooo somebody should fix and enable the Kikimora. Pretty much anything new at this point, it's not that Anomaly isn't great, but I think in my opinion it's variety that really gives a game longevity. More mutants=more variety and more fun. Honestly if you could release this as a standalone that splits/shares the spawn percentage for a vanilla Pseudogiant, that would make it even better.
Gotta be honest: Something about the bayonet charge at ~0:50 filled me with terror for some reason...which is EXACTLY what a massed bayonet charge in first-person should do. Bravo in that regard. For the soundtrack, I'd recommend looking at the much-loved but rarely discussed anime classic: Legend of the Galactic Heroes (dumb name, but so is Star Wars if you think about it), it's essentially anime space War & Peace and it makes heavy use of orchestral pieces from Mahler, Dvorak, Schubert, and Wagner, among just about every other classical composer who ever existed.
Here's a link to some of the non-original music they use:

The OST is good too, but I don't suppose you could get the rights, nor would it fit exactly with the sound-aesthetic of the mod, but I'd give it a listen and make that determination for yourself.
Looks like you took some cues from Ghost of Tsushima, which is the opposite of a complaint--given that GoT took cues from...Japan...Basically I'm trying to say that the colors and level design is coming together really well
Big fan of the idea, and I have a question that may or may not have an answer at this point: is this going to be a multiplayer experience, or will there be a single player component as well? What I mean is: is this more similar to the Pulsar: The Lost Colony game that's on Steam, or the old Star Trek Bridge Commander from way back in the day?
I cannot do or understand math, but I look at these magic equations and graphs and heatmaps and I'm, pardon my French, super ***** for this project. I might not be able to understand the systems at play, but I love looking at maps and leading imaginary countries. I hope this really goes places bud.
I'm a simple man. I smell Battlestar vibes, I support a project. Hope this turns out well.
If this turns into a thing I will legitimately cry. Bridge Commander gave me so many good memories as a kid, and it makes me sad that it doesn't work on modern systems. I literally tried installing it on my new(ish) PC the other day and the processer/GPU was somehow too fast for it. Like the camera moved in 60fps but the game itself only ran in 15-20fps, making it basically unplayable. If this is real, it would basically be the game of destiny. One thing you should keep in mind is that it has to essentially serve as a blank slate for modders, that's what made original BC so great. Also: Paramount and/or Activision may not be down with you using the original characters from the first game because they're extremely anal about IP law. You may want to tweak your proposed story in that regard. Otherwise, I literally pray (you have no idea how long I've wanted this) for your success.
Mind if I ask what ReShade you're using in the preview pics?
The Poseidon is up there with my favorite canon-adjacent designs. That and the Century are just beautiful, and in my mind the Century-class will always be the real Enterprise-F.
Well this is an...unorthodox way to fix a game. Depending on how hard they go, Cyberpunk could be something I'd wanna start playing again.
Your Excellency, Docm30, I just want to say that I've been a longtime follower of this project (I'm hesitant to call it a mod simply because it looks like a new game at this point), and I think I speak for everyone that loves this when I say: Please take all the time you need to make this the best it can be according to your vision. Even in the current release, it's the closest thing I have to a War & Peace simulator and it's already so good. Keep up the good work and go forward with our full faith and confidence that the eventual next release will blow us all away like it's Austerlitz!
I don't get why there aren't more comments on here, I only ever played Starflight: The Lost Colony, but this looks even better. Consider me excited.
Looks like a proper successor to the mod. I quite like all the little animations which actually make the voxel people look alive, in their own way. Hope this gets a big modding community as well.
Generic side quest is a-okay in my book. Good luck with development and thanks for the speedy reply!
This game looks interesting, and I'm more cautiously optimistic about it since you guys (the developers) give frequent updates and seem actively engaged with the community on all major channels. I was wondering about the whole "hunting outlaws" type thing. Will this be space or ground based? And if so will it be a bounty hunting system where we get paid to kill or capture these criminals? If so then this game would probably satisfy my desire for a Cowboy Bebop-style space bounty hunting simulator I've been wanting for some time now and be an instant purchase.
During QA/Just noodling around during production, what's been the craziest thing to happen during a game?
How close do you think we as a species are to really reaching out and taking our first big steps in the universe?
Beyond the three basic weapon types will there be any additional types added in through DLC?
How many different empires can exist in a map at once?
Would you rather live a 'Star Trek' future, or a 'Firefly' one?
Hey bro, you should release some kind of mob develpoment toolkit to the public and let them submit mobs they've designed to put in the official game, it would help give a more diverse number of aliens, and whatnot.
so will this work with the native module?
mine was under program files[x86] but i still foun it
