I was recently informed that The Valiant is appearing in yet another mod, for which I'm HUGELY grateful: the Tie Fighter Total Conversion mod! With the enormous upgrades to the visuals, the expansion of the missions, the pouring in of new spacecraft of all kinds, it's probably far more accurate to call that astounding endeavor a Total Conversion. "Yes," I know that total conversions typically steer a game's content in a radically different direction, but I'm sticking to my guns on this one. The volume of work, and the incredible increase in quality, it IS a total conversion. In any case, to see all of that gorgeous lighting falling over The Valiant... Just WOW! I am flattered and very thankful that she's once more getting such loving treatment. I can't wait to do barrel rolls over her once more! And for those of you who haven't yet tried the original TIE Fighter game, hop to it! It's a Master Class on how to carry out an action flight simulator. It has a TERRIFIC story, with lots of twists and turns. Who would have ever have thought that such could be possible in a flight simulator?
