Tiberian Sun: Reborn brings the exciting storyline and epic clashes from the classic Westwood Studios game, Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun to realm of first person shooters, with a twist. We've remained loyal to the style and feel of the 1999 classic, while integrating content from its expansion Firestorm with a bit of updated history to add to the mix. Built off the W3D engine Westwood Studios built for classics such as Earth & Beyond and Command & Conquer: Renegade finished up in 2001, we help bring the fight to you as you play out your role as any one of a number of infantry classes participating in team-based combat that often involves land, sea, and air combined-arms clashes that just don't happen in any other game. Oh, and did we mention it's FREE?

Hi guys, sorry for the lack of updates, the team has been working hard on the mod, they've produced quite a few results for this weeks blog to show off. I won't post the whole blog here, instead I'll link to the forums for you to see it how it is, and comment on it there if you need.

Hi guys, sorry for the lack of updates, the team has been working hard on the mod, they've produced quite a few results for this weeks blog to show off.
I won't post the whole blog here, instead I'll link to the forums for you to see it how it is, and comment on it there if you need.

This blog outlines:

  • The new direction for Reborn maps, as stated by Halo38 (Lead Enviromental Artist)
  • Now let's talking about mapping. I'll tell you from now that our very own JeepRubi and Halo38 are extremely hard at work with their new map, TS_Waterfront. This level is an urban map, with a very Tiberian Sunish feel to it. Of course it'll have the nice buildings modelled after TS civilian structures, as well as a good theme of war (if you can call that good).

  • Some WIP images of the new and improved Nod Advanced Powerplant which has been made by Sloth.
  • Texture progress on the GDI Juggernaut by Renardin.
  • I'd like to also mention this topic over on the forums (registration may be required) concerning the public views of the mod, it's a place where you can input your ideas or thoughts and they may be included in the modification at some later date.

So Check out the blog in all it's glory.
