Starborne is a new strategy MMO where you take on the role of space commander to compete against thousands of other players over control of the galaxy. Forge alliances, build massive fleets and wage wars to expand your space station into a galactic empire!
The game takes place on a seamless map which can currently support up to 2.492 concurrent players. Due to its slow-paced nature in a persistent universe, games in Starborne take months to reach the crucial endgame phase, where the surviving alliances duke it to become the uncontested winner.
Starborne also features a card based customization system, allowing you to enhance your fleets, space stations and alliances. These upgrades enable a wide number of strategies and counters for you to further specialize your playstyle.
While Starborne is still in the early stages of development, we're having regular test games to gather feedback from the community, with the next alpha slated for April 2018. Make sure to follow us to receive development updates and secure a spot for the next test!

Resource Fields being harvested will now display mining activity as well. Mining Drones aren’t quite finished yet so we’re using Patrol Ships as placeholders.
The next step is to show battles in real time on the map as well, and we're trying out a few different concepts in this regard. The amount of ships shown will depend on your fleet composition, and collateral damage to structures will be visible in the last phase.
We’ve also received a few questions regarding the size of the different ships, so our artists have put together this comprehensive ship size chart! Space banana for scale.
Lastly, four new cards are coming to Alpha 8: ESA Permit, Command Overhaul, Sensor Overload and Reactive Armor. Stay tuned for the Combat Update!
Each ship received two mutually exclusive modifications which can be unlocked via Commander Abilities. These new ships not only look different, but also...
3 new classes and 6 specializations are coming to Starborne!
Check out the new HUD, card artwork, event system and more!
Starborne's seventh Alpha test concludes with Singularity securing the victory.
