There aren't that many space combat games out there that deal with large capital ships. We aim to change that. Star Villains and Space Heroes can be best described as a 3rd person shooter - in space!

Features:

  • Pilot large capital ships, from patrol craft to dreadnaughts
  • Play as one of four factions with distinct technologies and ship designs
  • Engage targets with plasma cannons, railguns, missiles, particle beams, lasers... the works
  • Make use of point defence weapons, countermeasures and stealth technology
  • Campaigns for each of the four factions
  • Eventually, multiplayer!

Pity this appears to have been abandoned, it had a lot of promise. Almost a full decade of inactivity at this point...

Very Nice update ;). Looks so nice, you making good improvements on the game, continue your nice work. 1-Are the planets used for something, have they any purpose on gameplay? 2- Can these complex be destroyed that affects the faction like supplying it, or reconstructed, repaired upgradeable (defend against ennemies, launch fighters, drones) , detail their purpose?, 3-same question for planets. 4-have you thinked to put your project on steam greenlight? A lot of potential pc players prefers only steam, there are more feedback from players, a lot more big community than here. This game looks nice. I wish you best luck on future. I will be waiting for next updates. ;)

At the moment, they don't do anything. We are moving towards the capacity for planets inside the gameplay area, but it's not there yet. Just pretty skyboxes :)

When we get to singleplayer, we will certainly have things like destroyable stations for campaign bonuses or penalties. Always thinking about those kinda things! They're very cool.

A controls manual would be a delight.

Main Menu -> Controls gives a list of key commands.

To undock from the station in the Tutorial mission, wait until the appropriate time (you will be told via chat) and hit Left Shift to boost out of the clamps. This is scripted.

Great, I hardly managed the second and first missions XD oh and a tipp for anybody who has not figured it out, the small ship is just as good as the big one, its easier to storm the enemies (they are 100% accurate when firing, well almost)
