“SKELBORNE” is a Single Player game with a pop-up book art style while maintaining a fantasy/medieval setting, some game objects will be in 2D and are able to stand-up like a pop-up picture, while others are in 3D and do not possess that ability. In this game, the player controls a skeleton, a sentient one to boot (it means they have conscience and are self-aware of their surroundings). They will be able to explore the game scenery, solve some mini-puzzles essential for main story plot and fight against controlled zombies and necromancers (mages that can control undead creatures and use other related skills).
Hello everyone, for today's update we inform you that the Skeleton has its Idle and Run animations implemented and its movement mechanic is more smooth.
Also, some enemies already have the respective sprites inserted with animations to follow (idle, walk, attack animations implemented).
Besides this, we're starting to put background assets in the game! At the moment, we've only put the City Ruins background assets. We are using it to make some tests in terms of aesthetics and collisions with other game objects.
After we're satisfied and have a better understanding on how we should put the other backgrounds, we'll drop them right up!
That is all for now, we wish everyone a wonderful weekend!
