“SKELBORNE” is a Single Player game with a pop-up book art style while maintaining a fantasy/medieval setting, some game objects will be in 2D and are able to stand-up like a pop-up picture, while others are in 3D and do not possess that ability. In this game, the player controls a skeleton, a sentient one to boot (it means they have conscience and are self-aware of their surroundings). They will be able to explore the game scenery, solve some mini-puzzles essential for main story plot and fight against controlled zombies and necromancers (mages that can control undead creatures and use other related skills).

Hello everyone, today we'll show you the game mechanics we mentioned on the previous update and other that we've been working on.

Damage Skeleton Mechanic: When the enemy hits the skeleton, their health starts dropping, when it reaches its end the level restarts from the beginning.


The Skeleton throws its arm to hit the enemy, causing them damage. When it reaches 0, the enemy disappears.


The Necromancer shoots fireballs at the skeleton, causing damage to the Skeleton from afar.


Besides the game build mechanics, we're currently working on enemy animations and we believe we can show some on the next update, look foward to it!
