Rivengardian Tales is a 2D adventure role-playing game where you take the role of an adventurer exploring the vast world.

This game features:

- An Adventurer's Haven | You won't need to learn how to handle a hammer to survive in Rivengard! Progression isn't tied to crafting. Instead, players will have to go to either explore abandoned ruins or buy their gear from merchants to get stronger.

- Tactical System | This is Team Canvas's take on the traditional turn-based RPGsof old. Instead of just simply choosing an action, adventurers may also position themselves using the game's 'Tactical Grid.' a bird's eye view of the battlefield. The better positioned you are, the more effective your moves become.

- Unique Locales | No regions are (almost) ever the same!

- Varied Monsters | Just like Rivengard's map, the monsters you encounter will vary depending on the area you're in. Each one of them will have randomly generated stats, so pay attention to their behavior when you move to a new locale.

The game is currently targeting a windows release once it's ready to be played worldwide, and it will continuously get updated overtime.

Developed by Team Canvas, Rivengardian Tales is a 2D adventure role-playing game where you take control of an adventurer exploring through different regions - each with their own unique monsters to fight, and areas to discover. At its current state, the game only has the monster generation and barebones combat, but I'll have have more to reveal as soon as the necessary systems are complete. And who knows, I may even release a simple combat demo at some point in time!
