Project Cybertronic is a zero gravity 3rd Person Sci-Fi online multiplayer shooter in the style of a battle arena game.
You are a soldier with a special space suit. Equipped with a jetpack, steering nozzles, magnetic boots and a gun.
In zero gravity you will accelerate on maneuvers like never before. Fly and fight in the void of space. Snap to and walk on walls, ceilings or any kind of surfaces with your magnetic boots to take cover and to dynamically recharge your jetpack. Trade your skill with other players or join the team to infiltrate gigantic battleships. Choose your weapon, use special items and dominate with your real abilities.
The future is in space and Earth-Alliance needs you.
Until the year 2150, humanity assumed to be by themselves in the universe. They longed for like-minded people, whom they could research and get to know. In short, they craved a new challenge and thus, the scientists did not stop searching for extraterrestrial life. After many years’ precipitation and failures, they succeeded in establishing contact with other living beings in the galaxy in 2150. Humanity was overjoyed to have eventually succeeded with the protracted generation-covering search for extraterrestrial life. However, the joy was not meant to be long lasting. Over the course of the following 200 years, humanity was drawn into an intergalactic war by their apparently not quite friendly neighbours. Additionally, the hostile aggressors clearly defined their goals: They want to exterminate humanity. But humanity wouldn't give up without a fight. For this reason, the earth alliance decided to use the solar system as a training ground which was the only safe place that they still knew. It was used to arrange tournaments in order to recruit soldiers and to train them as quickly as possible. The goal of the participating units is to infiltrate the stations and ships of the opponents, to find their weak points from the inside out in order to immobilise or even completely destroy them. Slip into a character of your choice, help the earth alliance to protect humanity against the aliens and save your home!
Dear Gamer and Developer,
It took a long time to report something new about Project Cybertronic. That's just how indie developers are lacking in almost everything, and time you only get while you're still healthy and alive. 4 years of development time is not enough for such a big no-budget indie game, and when you look back, ask yourself what you're doing there. But there are more and more people who would like to play Cybertronic, then they should be able to support it. That's why Project Cybertronic is now available on Steam as early access.
Project Cybertronic on Steam
The release on Steam:
Steam is the biggest gaming platform on the PC and we were honored to learn that we got the green light from Valve after the closure of Steam Greenlight. We were able to release Project Cybertronic without any additional fees directly on Steam. I can not say if it was the many formalities or the 6 month forced project break that prevented us from taking any further steps. It was probably both. Anyway, we needed more reach and released it on July 4th. And it was a good thing, we had so many players we could never reach before. We released it with for $ 13.37 (who wonders why for this price is not an elite gamer and should google after 1337 ;). Now, after a month of release, we have nearly 98 who have made it into their wish list, and a handful of buyers for whom we are very grateful. We have done now a discount recently from 5 August for a week.
We are working on the next update:
In terms of symbolism, we go up a steep hill. We are working on a future-oriented new basis for the game. Character design and mechanics will be completely redesigned and the network function more stabilized and simplified. 2 programmers will use their free time to take Project Cybertronic to a higher level. A short insight shows this video:
After a project break, we continue Project Cybertronic from now on. On this Article we explain what our priorities are.
The Indiegogo campaign was unsuccessful and we did not expect it to be so bad. But we are still optimistic and don’t let us deterred by this little...
A story belongs to every good game, not only because it offers a depth for fans, but also because it puts the separate assets into an understandable order...
