Myriavora is a roguelike swarm action shooter. You unleash a storm of fire and ice upon giant spiders, dodging their frantic attacks via cool moves.
A million years in the future. Evolutionary pressure has turned spiders into a far superior species. Humans are now close to extinction. The last survivors rely on remains of powerful technology they didn't invent and barely understand. You traverse this lonely, hostile world in search for a safe home.
Key featuresCamp Nubium has excellent defenses. The teleporters in particular stand out because they can be used both offensively and defensively. If my health weren't so bad, I wouldn't worry about this fight at all.
It's small (just 154 MB), not time-limited, and offers a couple hours of fun!
Will I finally manage to turn things around today and end my streak of bad luck?
Can I recover from the mistakes I made in the previous episode?
I can't afford to make mistakes in today's episode.
In today's episode, I'm trying to take cover in the woods.
Check out this huge demo, containing 12 maps and several hours of entertainment!

Shout-out to Panca Main Game, an Indonesian YouTuber! He played Myriavora the other day and I am impressed how quickly he became familiar with the controls. The video is less than 10 minutes long, but by the end he is already playing like a pro!
This game is really cool, I love being so mobile. The only thing I found was the camera being so low I spent a lot of time looking at grass.
Thank you for the feedback! I will try to improve the camera positioning.
hey
hi 😄
Is this what it is like to have a seizure?
If seizures are good then yes! Exactly like this! 😄

theSventos streamed Myriavora yesterday! He's new to the game, so it was a 2.5 hours rollercoaster of fun & drama. Exactly what you want from a roguelike shooter.
I strongly advise you to stop spamming/abusing INDIEDB's/MODDB's image uploading function by daily uploading gif animations to keep your project in the top news positions BEFORE a staff member gets notified about this unfair conduct in regards to your fellow indie devs...
... to be honest I am growing really TIRED of filtering for COOP games with your project constantly occupying my top 5 return results.
This needs to stop NOW.
Thank you for reminding me that the game was still marked as coop, I've fixed that now. However, I fail to see how daily uploading new gifs counts as spam. I think that's exactly what this feature is supposed to be used for. On the upload page it explicitly says "fill your profile to maximise your success". If you disagree with my interpretation, feel free to notify staff. I would definitely comply to their judgement.
I was hoping to appeal to common sense of fairness in regard to all the other content producing members of this platform...
...but since you've taken the co-op tag down (which should resolve the immediate issue for me personally) I'll refrain from further actions as I am just another member on this platform.
Well, I'm all for fairness! But when I look at the update list, I see plenty of projects that seem to get updated daily, for example World of Padman, Apastron, Port Valley, Atmocity, Deep Rest. So, why is it not fair when I do it? What *would* you consider a fair update schedule?
Look, I'm not trying to be difficult or sarcastic. It's just that I can't find any guide or best practices on using indiedb. I know I'm asking for a lot considering you don't like the project. But since you've been on this platform for much longer than me, I'd genuinely appreciate your feedback.
Modders and developers can update their own game and mod profiles as often as they want. Especially considering they are effectively bumped only once a day. (Community groups, fangroups, etc should never be spammed, though.)
