Single and Multiplayer weapon based combat in perpually changing environments. mTheoryGame is a third person action game, where you, your allies and foes leverage the power contained by the “Universe Charge” - a grenade like device than can open up a localised pockets of alternate realities. In its current form the game is an outlet for all my tech / shader development and game design ideas.
I spent today adding and tweaking some features in the game.
(Work in progress footage, early versions of new features.)

I have been working on a cinematic/debugging/gameplay effect and used it on the title screen as a demo. The colours can fade rather than switch, still...
With the launch of a new website/blog came a new video with 7 mins of game play footage.

You havent posted anything, are you still developing it?
not actively, I'm working on a new game
Ok, so I went to test the second alpha(which was pretty awesome), and I just want to recommend some things.
1. I know you're probably already planning on this, but add some variety to the game.Make a menu where you can set costumes and teams.
2. Add upgrades! It will make the game take a longer time to beat.
3. Once you get all the bugs, you should add a campaign. If you can make it open world, people will definitely want to play this game.
4. Speed up fps pw0x :P
Sorry if I'm criticizing alot, but your idea sounds genius and will be my most favorite game made by one person when the bugs are out.
Cheers mate, very valid points! I will see what I can do for you =)
im waiting and dying for this game dude.
If you ever need any testing,im right here and ill help test it.
cool, thanks man, I will let you know when some testing is coming up.

....Err, so what is the point of the game? It appears as if you've got a LEGO third person shooter...
but really, your description really doesn't tell us -what- the game is.
I realize you've made a website for the game, but there are those of us who don't like randomly going to websites. Some of us prefer to just be able to read a paragraph, go "okay this is like (*insert game design here*)"
Thanks for taking some time to give me feedback, you make some very valid points, I'm still new at this so every bit helps =)
I will put much more info in here (by 'more' I mean some). I also hope to produce some informational videos soon, rather than raw gameplay dumps.
Cheers
Just be aware -- ModDB seems to take media in the news bits more seriously than you'd expect. I had an entire article about my one game, in which I explained a complete game design revamp. Didn't even get on the front page because I didn't have 2 images.
Just a headsup.
