A hand-drawn, hand-animated 3D game in development for PC, Mac and Linux platforms. Using traditional animation in a way you never thought possible to create something truly unique. Made by hopeful Canadian indie developer Andrew Hlynka. A platformer/puzzle/adventure title. Control James through a surreal, dreamlike world filled with interesting characters, on a quest to recover his memory and find out his name. Features HD traditional animation to make the characters come to life, using psueudo-3D methods from older games, but built from the ground up to take advantage of modern hardware.
After much thought, I've decided to focus my attention on completing a smaller, simpler game, which would lead into "James - Journey of Existence." I intended a series of games, and the feedback and ideas I've received help give me confidence that this is the right thing to do.
"Drew and the Floating Labyrinth" is a hand-drawn 3D third-person puzzle-platformer for PC, Mac and Linux platforms. Control Drew, a lost young girl trying to find her way back home, through a series of abstract levels requiring you to use clues in the environment to find invisible paths, gaining color to her black-and-white character as you progress.
