Epsylon - The Guardians of Xendron takes the player on a journey to a futuristic world investigating a very special Science-Fiction setup. With a team of rather different characters the player investigates, and if required fights, his way through a large case. How you solve the case is though up to you. Combine the strength of your team members is important as no team member alone can crack the case alone.

Report RSS Inverse Kinematic system and first videos!

How long did people wait on this lovely moment where the first images in motion of this game engine and the game can be seen. Took me a long time to find a usable way to grab a video of the engine as long as there is no video capture functionality included in the engine itself but somehow I managed.

How long did people wait on this lovely moment where the first images in motion of this game engine and the game can be seen. Took me a long time to find a usable way to grab a video of the engine as long as there is no video capture functionality included in the engine itself but somehow I managed. Besides a bit of the engine the videos feature especially the new Inverse Kinematic system. In those videos the animations carried out are a mixture of animations modified by inverse kinematic.

The videos show from left to right: Engine/Console/Flashlight ( 4MB ), Light-Switch ( 5MB ), Nano-Key ( 9MB ).

@Salohcin:
Lighting is currently rather poor in fact. It bleeds if lights are close to each other as there is no HDRR support yet. Once though this is in things should be better. But otherwise the lighting is doing how it should so far.

@ SinKing:
My spare time simply. But the reason why I can go that fast at the time being is not that much that I spend any available time on the engine it is that i made a special design. Hence I spend a lot of time early in the process to make a solid and easy to extend engine base to make the production process later on much quicker than it usually would be for other engines. The way it is now I can simply optimize the individual modules without double crossing working on the game or the engine which makes things easier.

I'm always smitten by your releases. Its not only that your game looks pretty good, it's also all the little and big things you can do with it that thrill me. I'd like to produce a standalone game with it someday, but I wouldn't make an FPS-game, personally.
How much time do you put into this? With al the upgrades of lately, it seems like your putting all your life into this project. Even if not, you have my highest respect and admiration for doing this great work!!
