Erin is trapped in the Dreamscape with her boyfriend gone missing, and the only thing she owns to get back to the normal world is magical headphones that make visiting one's mind possible.
Can you help her find the way out?
Developer Independence is a fantastic thing. Being able to control the prices for your games needs to be celebrated. We here at DesuraNET believe that as a developer you should have the freedom to do as you please, and it seems we are not the only ones who share such ideals.
Because We May is a sale collective of developers from different websites, devices and genres that have set low prices for the last week of May. Why? Because they can.
Here are a few of our favorites and recommendations for you:
If you want to be apart of the awesome gathering of developers simply fill out this form and discount your game as much as you want! Then just comment in this post and I will update the list!
Aldorlea's "Dreamscape" will be on sale (50% off) until November 25, 2011 (Black Friday).

McAfee is labeling the dreamscape.exe as an Artemis virus and quarantining it with the real time scanner whether its marked as trusted or not, which is typical on the home version of McAfee security. You should contact virus_research@mcafee.com and tell them they have a false positive. I have this problem with both executables from Dresura and the Aldorlea site.
Not only McAfee. Virustotal.com
Take a look, 16/48 scanners flag Dreamscape.exe as the dangerous thing.
AVs are just dumb, the same file with DRM protection drops to 2/48:

I can't download Dreamscape through Desura it says Error: [38.111] and that there are no available mirrors for the game and that I should try again soon.
I tried a few times today. (I'm trying to install it from my "Play" tab and also through this page but nothing works.
It works now, thanks.
Dreamscape is also a movie.
This looks pretty cool
I can't get this game to run on Windows 7 64bit and no compatibility mode helps. Nothing happens upon launching the program; the dreamscape.exe process immediately shuts down. Any suggestions?
Funny works fine for me in Win8....which is just 7 sans the Aero
Hard to tell what could possibly be the error. Can you try to download and install any other game of mine and see if the problem persists?
Aldorlea.com
I already own both Laxius Force I and Millennium 2 and both work fine. I also tried downloading Millennium 1 from that link, and it worked fine as well (in trial mode of course). Seems that it is only Dreamscape. I've also tried redownloading it in case it was a corrupt file, but that had no effect.
That's really a part of the mysteries of computers because Dreamscape is built exactly the same way as Millennium. I take it you also downloaded Dreamscape from that link above and it still didn't work?
I just tried the Dreamscape from that link, and it did work, but I couldn't enter my registration key because it seems to work differently than the Desura version that I own. I took a look at the install directories of the two different versions and realized that the Desura version was not creating "Dreamscape.ini" like the other version does. after copying that file to the directory of a Desura version install, the Desura version worked.
So, in short, it seems that the Desura installer does not create the necessary "Dreamscape.ini" file, at least on my system. Fixing that fixes the problem. Thanks for your help in figuring this out!
I got Dreamscape here and it works fine on my Win 7 64.
