Another week is over. Development of City Climber is going great. The game is slowly taking its final shape.
Release is postponed to Q1 2017
Main reason for this decision, is that there are massive sales on Steam during end of the year, and small games like City Climber just get lost in all the discounted titles. I`m really sorry about the delay but I just cannot compete againts discounted AAA games during their biggest sales. I hope that you understand.
Progress on Leap of Faith
I mostly though about some new ways, how to make levels more interesting and not repetitive. Thats why I decided to create more environments that I can use as the base for multiple levels. I`m also working on adding some new forms of projectiles that will try to hit you.
I`ve added some small detial to the scenes in the main menu, improved a few animations, remade the level selection and pumped up the character selection screen for Leap of Faith challenge.
For the next few days, I will focus on finishing the Main menu and making it as user friendly as possible.
I would also want to write descriptions for various challenges, and create UI for climbing tutorial.
