"Bugs Must Die" is a spiritual successor to Konami's top-down jeep gunning action title "Jackal". Slay alien bugs and bosses that mimic Earth Pop Culture by controlling heavy armored upgradeable vehicles or agile special agents. A frantically-paced pixel art twin-stick shooter with 80s & 90s arcade style, Bugs Must Die brings gamers the nostalgia of old school gaming experience.
The game will be released on Steam for PC @ PDT 7:00 P.M. April 5, 2019. A free demo is available to all through the Steam Store.

The original launch date was Jan 31st. And we are eager to launch the full game on time. However, in order to bring you a final version that we are satisfied with, we need more time to polish and balance it. So we have decided to postpone the launch day to this March, with the exact day TBC.

I have a soft spot for modern-retro-style games. Because of that, Bug must die is a must play for me. The concept is very <a href="http://www.cool.ogreatgames.com/?059=&utm_source=Blog commenting&utm_medium=ques&ans5&utm_campaign=Blog_commenting">interesting</a>. And the gameplay sounds awesome. "Bug must die" is a modern-retro-style 2D pixelart top-down shooting game. In the game, as an elite from the Galactic Pests Control Company, you are sent to the planet M-79 to prevent Mantis Beings from invading the Earth. On that terrestrial planet, you not only have to destroy the cruel Mantis soldiers, but also battle with the various Bosses cloned from the Earth's pop culture by Mantis Beings.
