In this video, I talk about the new USABLE items. Much like the original Astrox, usable items can be 'USED' at any time. Unlike the original, you will now be able to accessible the from the CARGO panel. This helps to prevent addition clutter on the HUD. A simple double click of the item will deploy or consume it... depending on what type of usable item it is.
I also made some changes to the FLEET command panel. The pilots are now visible, along with their ships. A few tweaks to some of the pilot display options. nothing major, mostly aesthetic. I also changed the way that the pilot panel is displayed. It is now bigger and centered on the screen. It now displays the pilot avatar that was chosen from the NEW CAMPAIGN screen. The STATS panel now holds the pilot panel button, along with the addition of the FRIENDLY FIRE toggle button.
The UI scale slider is now properly displaying various UI elements. Items in the station now scale correctly and are spaced out according to the available area.
Over 20+ mission event modes have been implemented and tested, although there is still about 20 more to go. Hopefully I will have all of this wrapped up next week so I can start making some cool tutorial quests and such.
