Personal Log of Agent Anna Sorensdottìr:

Operation Scythe, a coordinated international offensive against the transgenic Collective was a dire failure and cost us most of our men and resources. While we managed to weaken the mutant forces significantly, they have struck us with such a fatal blow that it might have just been the final nail in the coffin for humanity as we know it.

Task Force Zero has already been reduced to a single active unit and in the wake of this grand assault, our men have been taken captive by the Collective.
Now reduced to a skeleton crew we concocted a plan to rescue our agents. Its really nothing more than a last ditch effort..., to send in the last remaining member of the Task Force, with hopes that he single handedly exfiltrates a dozen captives from a formidable high security military installation.

However, to Agent Grimms immense credit he has accepted the mission without any hesitation. He appears confident that there is a chance for us to make a dent into their defenses and his demeanor had a calming effect on me during our preparations. If he can remain so restrained even though his fiancée is among those captured, why should I be such a nervous wreck? After all
he is the one actually sent in there while I'll only observe through his infolink.

We'll drop Grimm over the Qasqir Tower military installation, once a brutalist monument to the military strength of the Pan-Asian Coalition, now a center of operations for the Collective.
High altitude, low opening in the dead of night. There is a distinct chance he will not be noticed as the mutants likely don't expect a break in from the top. It is up to him to interface me with the buildings intranet so I can lock out the reinforcements from the lower levels of the tower. After that all he has is about an hour, maybe hour and a half before they circumnavigate my efforts and he'll be so outgunned that even a man of his caliber and particular skill set will be outmatched. If our agents are still alive, he is to find them. Our thermal-echolocation scan of the building revealed them to be held near the helipads, that is our only chance. If he manages to get to them in time we can send in a stealth helicopter to retrieve them. A lot of "ifs" and "buts" and no certainty.

I understand that I am likely the most efficient hacker still operating for the collective but I'd dread to be the one on com-line while they send Morgan Grimm to his death.

Hello there!

I'm happy to say a few playthroughs of my game have found their way on to youtube. I'd like to feature them here alongside my own videos on the game as I find its always good to provide vids for people who might still be on the fence on wether or not they'd like to try the game.

Keep in mind that these are full playthroughs that spoil the game, so don't watch them all the way through if you aim to play it yoursellf!

Thanks for viewing and have a good one!

as far as FPSC goes, you really cant ask for much better than this. It was a solid 40 minute game, looked good, and was an actual first person SHOOTER rather than a walking simulator or zombie game.

For a wolf game, I've seen better (in every way but length). Deprivation Direct Action and Euthanasia seemed to have more inspiration and love behind them, plus slightly better lighting/color choices, whereas Amytic Pulse seemed to be a sort of tech demo to feel out how far FPSC has come since it's recent Black Ice Mod update. The GameGuru project Redacted 2 was better from a kinetics/ "shooter feel" standpoint, frame rates not withstanding. This being said, It is by no means a "bad" entry in the wolf catalog.

It is clear you are a bit rusty having switched to gameguru for a while then come back to its predecessor, and nothing hurts me more than seeing someone with as much talent and skill as you squandering your games' potentials on these under-performing engines, but there can be no argument made that without your beautiful games lighting up the FPSC page, the software wouldn't be on anyone's radar.

If you're a fan of oldschool shooters from the ps2 era, you'll like this game, no question about it.

If you're a longtime fan of FPSC and Wolf's games specifically, you'll kind-of like it, but will see the flaws and the fact that the limiting factor here is the tool and not the artist, and wish he'd devote all of his efforts to his unity project, or pick up source.

Hey thanks! I'd love to see a video.
Also feel free to let me know anything you'd rather see different as I started working on a sequel and intend to release an updated version some time this winter :)

I finished the game yesterday and have some thoughts:
1. The two elevators need a switch on ground level
2. Occasionally enemies spawn in front of the player
3. There are too many air ducts in the game and some don't even fit in the environment
4. A sniper rifle would be a nice addition (just my opinion)

Overall, it's a good game. The architecture is really impressive.

First of all, thanks for playing it entirely, I really appreciate it. :)
1. Yikes, thats a major oversight! Thanks for pointing that out.
2. Ah! Thats something I need to overhaul in the future.
3. Hmm! Fair point.
4. I disagree with that partly, simply because the whole game is in these enclosed environments. But for weapon variety...yeah. I'll see if I can fit a bolt action rifle into the sequel.

Nice game, but it crashes while loading level 4. I think it's a problem with my computer and Windows 10, because it has trouble with other FPSC games as well. Could you provide a save file?

Improvement proposals:
1. The weapons could use autoreload
2. There are too many health items in the levels
3. A lot of keycard hunting and vent crawling

Thank you!
Yes, thats a frequent issue on many rigs, so its not your computer. However, if you want to give it another go, you can launch the game again, load from your last save and it should load the next level.

Thanks for your pointers too:

1. haha, no, I dislike that.
2. I agree. This is because many testers found the game too difficult so I made sure there was always some kind of health item in the area. I didn't want to go with regen health but might consider it for a sequel.
3. Oh? I thought I kept that to a minimum...the key card hunting that is. It happens twice in the game if I remember correctly. Guilty about the vents though. :)

I tried again and it worked.
In level 4 there's a big jump in difficulty, now I understand all the health items. After losing a life I start with low health, so it gets really tricky.

Apologies, but that starting with low hitpoints must be a bug. Its not supposed to happen.
The game will ease up for a few levels after level 4, in level 4: remember that you can peek (press "q" and "e") from these pillars in the main room.
Here is a walkthrough of level 4 if you are interested:
