Enjoy GearGrinder and many other great games on Desura.
the gates(markers on the ground) are distracting in FPS view, because their splash animation makes it looks like there is a brief lag. Maybe you can find another way to give feedback when the player hit a gate.
Beating the AI seems very easy, but I can imagine this to be a cool game when played with friends. Would go well on any handheld, I imagine (with wi-fi connectivity, instead of LAN)
German Production? Looking forward to it :)
From the looks of it youre not all too strict on realism for level-design. Thats good! Keep it that way becaus in the end a game is about fun, not about realism. Some Developers seem to forget about that.
i played this on wildtagent for the longest time and then i lost my account. glad to have this back somewhere i'm used to. this game is full of win and good.
Oh, and it's complete with a badass soundtrack.
I really like the premise of Geargrinder. Though there are a lot of racing games out there, I really like the Mad Max theme going on! Great Job! The freeway level looks pretty fun with all the debris and oncoming traffic.
Love it! (I mean the game if you confused)
A game where I can finally drive like the maniacs who cut me off every morning?
Finally!
(That video alone sold it for me)
