I don't have Half Life 2 here, but I really enjoyed the screenshots. Great job, guys! :)

My distribution's package manager works great, but it doesn't have any of the games I've bought on Desura. Linux distros have a policy of shipping open source stuff only.

Some Linux games include third-party .rpm or .deb packages, but they're only limited to a few distros, the packaging quality is often sub-par and they break when distros decide to move to newer library versions.

It makes me sad that game authors are treating Desura users as second-class citizens. I wouldn't expect this from Linux games, since Desura is the ONLY SANE WAY to install Linux games for the time being.

But Halloween is over, maybe better luck next year.

The introductory video above is REALLY boring. If there's something else to this game than riding elevators, you should demonstrate it in the video.

Thanks, the improved library management is great news. Sounds like the first Truly Linux game distribution network -- instead of a Windows application that was retrofitted to "mostly work" on Linux.

I do wonder whether this may clash with distribution-customized libraries though. They don't customize them much, but preconfigured path (e.g. configuration files, socket paths, etc) may differ between distributions.

This game costs $10 USD and 9€ EUR? 9€ is worth almost $13.

Come on, I thought it was just large US publishers that rip off Europeans! Not because I'm cheap or anything, but I refuse to be ripped off because of my nationality.

Is this just a Micro Machines clone or is there something more to it? (Honest question, not trolling)

Do not play, unless you have a spare mouse!

Don't get me wrong though, it's lots of fun, especially on levels that don't take 50 tries to complete.
