Trauma

Game review

First, the good: This game has a very original presentation style and unique graphics that match the atmosphere well. Bonus points for originality.

However, I found the gameplay to be unrewarding... The pattern in the puzzles is too obvious. After I noticed the pattern, solving the rest of the puzzles almost felt like "connect the dots". Some of the verbal and photo hints were just excessive and spoiled it. The only difficult bit is collecting all the photos, but that's just hard manual labour and not challenging.

The story is too vague and disconnected to relate to the main character. I guess I'm supposed to fill in the blanks from my own experiences, but that's hard to do if I don't care whether she lives or dies in the end.

I get the impression that the author over-did the "artsy" impression, at the expense of approachability and enjoyment.
