Secondly I have a question/request. I've got a longer term project that has evolved from a bit of an experiment into a budding engine that takes parts from old-style top-down RPG games and good old fashioned text-adventures and mixes them up to make a text and joypad entry system.
Now this may sound odd, but I think I am getting somewhere with the coding. What I would like to know is if anyone can point me in the direction of a good text-adventure (interactive fiction) development site or forum. I've had a look myself but couldn't find any active development forums, only download sites and reader/user communities.
Do text-adventure development communities still exist?

If you fancy it, please take a look at my game, made entirely by me in MMF2. Its a crazy, colourful adventure/bullet hell set in a large world, tons of gameplay, hours of gameplay and also a tough as nails survival mode with online high scores............. and its only £1.99.
