Transcendence Windows game

The first time I saw this I said is:, "This looks like a boring game, why don't I try it? "

after a few minutes of gameplay I have said is:, "Holy **** this game is way much more than I expected".

Great Community of Players and TONS of Mods to give players almost exactly what they were thinking of during the previous play through.

I must admit there are almost every kind of opportunity to simply enjoy yourself. I found I enjoy drifting around Asteroids Mining them for the various Ores. Of course, there is danger , Pirates and Slavers run free in the Galaxy : you see transports being attacked , looted, stations destroyed..

Alot of Commercial opportunity for the player to buy and sell goods : as well as the Ores I mentioned.

Fun game, with a very long single-player campaign that I played for many hours straight back when it was version .99c, four years ago.

It's still developed, and that parts I played then are still free, further polished, and even open-source now.

Oh, if the base game ever becomes dull, there are expansion packs available for download, ranging from a purchasable one from the main developer called Corporate Command, to nearly a thousand free ones that can be found on xelerus.de, each adding everything from new wingmen, to a tower defense mode, to a complete overhaul of the ingame mining system, to a port of every item and weapon from Descent.
