Tried everything and still cannot chose anything

It is a false positive
I have same problem as Stefan + its like clicking anywhere in main menu will open the coresponding menu like option and when you click on thing you hear sounds but tahts all its like menu is getting stuck on.
Now the basics. Yes I run as admin + compatibility + same trojan thing but I know (I have avast) that antivurs will get you that sometimes randomly(or not randomly) on exe files or any other files that looks suspicious.

1. Do I need to uninstall the previous version first or can I just install over it? (I currently have v0.9.0 installed - the first v9 release)
2. Can I continue playing with my WBC3 campaign with no serious issues or should I start a new campaign after installing this update?
this is a full version so you can just overwrite existing versions or install it in a new folder (clean install). This does not affect campaign progress.
It doesn't save the hero progress for some reason... Do you have any idea why?
You are probably playing with Handicapping on.

Steam version requires the vanilla WBC3 owned on Steam library.
The elementalism perk sometimes doesn't works propertly:
- sumon an earth elemental instead of a fire elemental.
- sumon an wather elemental instead earth elemental.
- sumon an fire elemental doesn't works
Sometimes engeniers can't be produced in loop.
Hi everyone. Maybe it's just a problem with my box, but after 3 or 4 days(respectively battles) in the campaign, it ends with a message "Congratulations! You have reached the end of the beta campaign... etc." I remember that the campaign of the original WLBC3 was much longer. So... is this campaign just a placeholder?
The main campaign isn't complete yet, but you can find a bunch of full ones in Custom Campaigns. You can even find the WBC3 campaign in there as well.
