Snowroll is a 2D plataformer with a touch of RTS (Real Time Strategy). These are the main highlights that make this plataformer unique: - To finish a level you need to get to the Igloo in the end. - To unlock the Igloo (locked by default) you need to collect all snowflakes in the stage. - You receive damage when you jump, so you have to be careful and try to jump only when you really need to. - Snowflakes give you life (and subsequently, more jumps). That's how you advance through the level. - At a random moment in the level, the world changes to the lava dimension, and you will start melting (losing life gradually). - Each level has two different endings (easy and hard) and both are unlocked since the beginning.

Snowroll now looks more awesome with some more realistic textures and the addition of fog in the levels. The animations that played while switching dimensions have also been upgraded! Even the color of the main light has been changed to give a warm feel in the fire dimension.

In this image you can see the comparison between level versions:

The new ice/snow/rock textures are more realistic since they now have a specular component:

Switching between dimensions now feels more realistic with the addition of thunders and it does not leave the player with a black screen for some miliseconds. You will always see what is going on!

The Graphics Update

The last change involves the lights. Now the snowflakes and igloos have their own light!

Thank you for trying the demo! I know it is a difficult game, thanks for sharing your frustration on collecting all snowflakes. This can be changed in the future as an optional feature.

Thank you for your feedback :)

Thanks, but I was also not too fond of the snowballs that can hit you no matter where you are, in the air or on the ground, and they come at lightning speed with little time to react.

That is because is not a level from the beginning of the game. I wanted to put some hard level on the demo aswell.
