“Nigh7mares” is going to be a 2D “vertical platformer” about Magnus, a magician who was accused of murdering his assistant and, as a way to prove his innocence, he decided to risk his life in the magic trick “The 7 Nightmares”, where he fights against several shadow-like figures in matches of a game similar to blackjack until he reaches one of the seven “bosses” and by defeating them he gains access to fragments of the real killer’s memories.

Welp. Here it is.
Not much to say really, only that our prototype is done, it has been posted on itch.io, you can click here to access the page and download it to either Windows or Mac.

It has been a long and tiring run for sure, too many personal and professional issues in between, and in the end, the game wasn't even how it was envisioned. Still, I'm proud of what we almost accomplished, especially considering all the muddy rivers we went through to get here. We also made a trailer in a jiffy so yeah, here it is.
We hope you enjoy our game and if you want to give some feedback feel free to do so.

Thank you for all the support, be good people!

For a moment there I thought you would be able to recruit enemies à la Shin Megami Tensei style... Instead we got Blackjack type combat and I can't really say I'm disappointed! Keep up the great work! Still curious to see how are you going to pull the combat off...
