Sumerian Blood: Gilgamesh Against the Gods, is a strategy+action game. You play strategy on a board but when pieces step on the same place a battle screen opens and they duel to the death. Sumerian Blood is loosly based on mesopotamian mythology and history. There will be both single player(Human Vs PC) and multiplayer(Over network or in the same machine).

I have made quite some progress lately. The gameplay video of me against an internet friend shows the progress of the game. I think he enjoyed playing against me, and more importantely, he told me afterwards that it inspired him to continue work on his game. :)
I have been working on a new ability for the griffin. Basically I want to set the abilities of the Griffin, Endiku and Gilgamesh which I postponed(I also don't have Gilgamesh's sprites yet).
I attempted to make a fire trace attack for the griffin. It was a bit more complicated than other abilities because this ability needs to dynamically generate flames. It's mostly an issue with online gameplay.
Apart from that, it needs better sprites for the fire and the projectile sprites is a place holder. I have asked how to draw flames for this, because I don't seem to know how to do that properly. :/

Good work on the tiles on the main map screen, definitely needed colour.
