The graphics are stunning, and etc but the fact is this Mod was created using highly detailed content based off of Konami's Silent Hill Franchise and to be able to create an exact replica of areas from Silent Hill Games is a form of stealing copyrighted content. If Konami were to find out about this mod they would likely have the Development Team that made this Game/Mod remove the Mod for Copyrighted Issues.

I'm not looking to fight with anyone about this I love the Silent Hill Franchise but when it comes to stealing someone else's content it's just not right. I also been seeing things that needs to be fixed in-game for example the camera angle is either too low or the doors are too high. I also been noticing some problems that they are having with not having enough props placed in-game and I think adding many more props to some areas of the environment will fix this problem.

P.S This mod/game is not getting anymore updates because if it was made using Unreal Engine than they require you to pay 20% of profits made from the Game/Mod to them for using their Software Engine after you publish a game you made from their Software. Also the Development Team say it's a Mod but it is really not a Mod because I can play it without needing Half-Life 2 or Steam as well.

If the Development Team sees this comment hopefully they'll contact me soon because I can possibly help with their monster and combat issue depending on what they are using for further development of this Application.

Most likely Konami know about our project but they do not touch us because the project is not monetized, there is not even a collection of donations.

About Alchemilla I'm afraid to disenchant you. This is an old version of the source engine is based on HL2:EP2. We can provide the source code if you want.

P.S. Mod does not require the original game because Valve give out engine in free access, it automatically downloads when you try to run Alchemilla. In addition, if I remember correctly, you can even play free in HL2 with same engine package.

Will it be possible for me to get a development copy of the game for personal use with Unreal Engine? I have a few of my own idea's, and I'll like to see what I can do with it. Also the mod is a public project for all users, and since the label "Silent Hill" belongs to Konami no one besides Konami actually owns Silent Hill. Also I may be able to help fix your weapon and monster problem with some time, and a bit of work with the development build.

What kind of project are you talking about?

If about Alchemilla - then this project is based on the old version of Source engine. If you have a desire to complete something, we can share the source code. But at once I warn that the engine is outdated and not supported by Valve.

If you about Twin Soul this project is based on Unreal Engine 4 and now in development.

I'm playing the game on "playonlinux". It's great fun, thanks for this. There are two "bugs" ( maybe system specific but i don't know ):

-Flashlight can't be toggled on / off. Once unequipped it's gone ( message: "I don't have a flashlight" ) This is no problem at the beginning but later it's "automaticaly" turned off ( outdoor ).

- After running the game I have to start a new game first and then load savegames afterwards. Loading a savegame at the beginning causes a crash.

Taken as a whole, the game runs amazingly well. Honestly, I didn't expect this on "playonlinux" / wine.
