I. Using computers
To use a computer, stand in front of a keyboard. The reticule changes to [_] indicating a possible interaction with an object. Press the 'E' or 'F' key. The reticule should then turn off : the commands of your keyboard have been transferred to the computer you want use. Perform a right-click to stop to use the computer.
2) Program in full screen
Interact directly with the screen, or left click if you have interacted with the keyboard. Right-click to exit the full screen mode.
A keyboard can be used with several screens. Use the MAJ key combined with the digits from 1 to 9 to switch between screens.
II. Using the Gate's Dialing Software
1) Loading of a software
Each programm is associated to a 3 numbers code. To charge the Dialing Program, enter the code 111 with your numeric tab, and press ENTER. Sometimes it is not necessary to enter all numbers ; for example if another programm of the same level in the list « Dial Programs 1 » is already charges, like the « Chevron 9 screen », you just have to enter the last number of the code. But you will need more to get to the Dial Programms 2, and so on.
2) Activate the Gate
Each key on your keyboard corresponds to a Gate Symbol. The last glyph needs to be the point of origin which corresponding to the key 'A' (or 'Q' with a qwerty keyboard) in order that the sequence be accepted by the SGC computer.
Once the message "Input Accepted" will appear, then you simply press the ENTRY key to start the dialing. The ESC key will abort the dialing. It's also possible to initialize the sequence first and then input the glyphs.
