Sadly I’ve not done much this month due to work and went out of town to visit in-laws for a while. Thankfully I downloaded the NavMeshPlus system (not an official Unity implementation of navmesh in 2D. Link) and got it setup and working. Not much else to explain, took me like a week with what little time I could squeeze out between events, work, and home life. It’s been a busy month.
As for future plans for this game, I still intend to work on the enemy AI and overall combat feel until it’s very enjoyable before I move on to more art. I have some side work that isn’t hobby related that will take my attention away from the game sadly so I’m expecting progress to go slow. But I’d rather it go slow and steady than just halt completely then give up after a year long unexpected hiatus.
